Former CFO of TOA Technologies and experienced M&A executive joins Jibe to drive growth
NEW YORK – April 7, 2015 – Jibe, Inc., a leading recruitment technology company, today announced Brian Cook as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Cook will lead Jibe’s financial operations as the company continues its mission to transform hiring through its recruitment software.
“Hiring Brian marks a distinct milestone in Jibe’s evolution,” said Jibe CEO Joe Essenfeld. “More than three million job applications for some of the best-known global brands will be processed through Jibe’s software this year. Brian’s experience working with ambitious, high-growth companies will be invaluable as we continue to mature and scale our infrastructure and operations to meet growing customer demand.”
A seasoned CFO and business leader, Cook’s expertise is in working with late-stage venture backed businesses, shaping their financial team and business processes. Most recently, he was CFO at TOA Technologies, successfully shepherding the mobile workforce management software firm through its acquisition by Oracle. Before that, he held CFO and senior management positions in technology, media and investment banking, taking companies through IPOs or mergers and acquisitions in the United States and Europe.
“The HR technology space is crowded and continuing to grow, but Jibe stood out to me as one of the few companies that has truly figured out how to enable companies to better attract and engage human capital,” said Cook. “This company is primed to grow to the next level and be a leader in this industry.”
