The Hangover? Not Us, We Want More!

The Hangover? Not Us, We Want More!

We are back! After a very eventful, fulfilling and thought-provoking few days at the 16th Annual HR Technology Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, we are predictably somewhat exhausted (see above image), but more so invigorated by the entire experience. Kudos extended to conference organizers and all participants on putting on an absolutely fantastic show.

We’ll have more to come in the following weeks detailing our experience at this year’s HR Tech, but wanted to share a few of our own personal highlights here. We were very excited to debut our Recruiting Analytics solution at the conference, and happy to show it off in our shiny new booth.

Our new Recruiting Analytics solution was also featured as one of six selected to present at the “Awesome New Technologies for HR” session, one of the more popular at the show. Jibe CEO Joe Essenfeld took the stage first to show the solution in action, talk about why and how it was developed, and demonstrate how we’ve managed to transform ‘Big Data’ into Meaningful Data.

All the solutions presented during the session were fantastic – congrats to fellow participants Causecast, cfactor Works, Entelo, Hunite and Jobvite – and the response to Joe’s portion of the program was especially enthusiastic.

Back in the booth our team worked it hard, presenting 5-minute speed sessions on our full solution set throughout both expo days. The crowds came (and not just for the food!) to learn more about our mobile, referral and job distribution apps, as well as our analytics solution, of course. We were even graced by a surprise appearance from Microsoft’s Monique Douglas, a Jibe client who took the stage to share her team’s experience with Jibe. Thanks, Monique!

And of course, we learned a lot from the sessions, had a blast at the parties, met a bunch of smart and welcoming folks from across the industry at the pre-show HRevolution ‘un-conference’, cheered on the winners of the CandE awards at their gala (more on that next week), and spent some quality time with some of industry’s most respected analysts, including Constellation’s Holger Mueller, who was gracious enough to live-tweet directly from our briefing:

There were some other things that happened at the show, but as they say, “What happens in Vegas…” Well, you know.

Can’t wait till next year!
